I managed the Assistive Technology Information Mapping (AT-Info-Map) Project funded by the Google Impact Challenge, which developed of a mobile app to map the availability of assistive technology in ten countries within Southern Africa region.
I managed the Arts and Crafts Project, which supported 13 craftspeople with disabilities in Kgatleng District, Botswana with skills and resources. After I left SAFOD in 2022, the project later built a multi-purpose hall in Mochudi and an e-commerce platform.
I managed the Inclusive ECDE Project, which helped children with disabilities in Lesotho, Mozambique and Zambia get identified early and enrolled in school, which later grew into a regional campaign for the development of inclusive ECDE Strategy.
The #Inclusive Young Voices project ran in Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, Zambia, and Malawi. It gave young people with disabilities a platform to use social media and other online tools. The goal was to push for disability rights within national and regional youth policies.
I served as District Coordinator for a World Bank-funded project, coordinating activities in Mchinji as part of a three-district pilot with Lilongwe and Salima.
I served as Project Coordinator for PEPFAR-funded project, managing activities and working with volunteers and partners in tfive villages: Khombwe, Kachakwala, Mdala, Lemu and Kam’mata.
I managed this construction project on behalf of the Child Rights Information and Documentation Centre (CRIDOC), part of our School Outreach Programme to build libraries and resource centres, and to set up school clubs, in primary schools.
